Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I don't normally like an unlined jacket, but decided to see how this one went as the fabric was quite firm. It turned out great & I didn't end up putting in a lining.
It fitted without any adjustment & is very flattering, so much so that I would like to try the collared version.
Conclusion: This jacket turned out even better than I hoped it would; I am very pleased with it. It was also very fast & easy to put together, I sewed the whole jacket (including homemade shoulder pads & hand-sewn hems) in just over 3 hours.
So that to me is a winning combination & a guarantee that I will sew it again!
So I would recommend this pattern to anyone who'd like a stylish jacket that is very easy to sew. With princess seams it is also a very easy style to adjust.
