Pattern Description: Misses narrow leg, self-faced contoured waistband with left side zipper or center back invisible zipper
Pattern Sizing: Size 6-14 - I made View A in a size 14
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Somewhat
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the contoured waistband and the slim legs; no dislikes
Fabric Used: A soft, slightly heavy ponte knit that looks like denim that I got on the red tag aisle at Joann's
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Since I always have to lengthen the back crotch length, I cut the center back about 1/2 inch higher. I put some knit stay tape at the waistband to keep it from stretching. I shortened the pants length 2 inches, put an invisible zipper in the left side, omitted the pocket; coverstitched the hem too.
Since the pants have a seam down the back legs, I opted to top stitch down the center front leg giving the illusion of a center seam.
Next time I will shorten the front crotch about 1/2 inch as it comes up a little high.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would like to sew a pair of brown ones and I do recommend this.
Conclusion: These are very comfortable but not too tight like leggings but still slim enough to tuck in your boots.
these are cute, you did a great job sewing.
