Pattern Description: Misses lined jackets in 3 lengths.
Pattern Sizing: 8-22. I made size 14.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes it did!
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I found the instructions very easy to follow. I did actually follow them since I'm not really familiar with making blazers and some of the details of the blazer. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked the style and the welt pockets. I really haven't had success with welt pockets until now. Fabric Used: I used a linen blend for the jacket and a standard lining material for the lining Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made no changes to the pattern. In fact, I didn't even make a muslin this time. I just checked the tissue for finished measurements, checked the length, and went for it.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes I would sew it again and I do recommend it to others. There are a lot of parts to put together, but it, surprisingly, doesn't take a long time to make.
Conclusion: I really like this pattern. It's versatile enough to be made out of a number of different fabrics. The style is classic. It's something that can be dressed up or worn with jeans. Here are some other pictures on my blog.
