Pattern Description: A high waisted pencil skirt with peplum and hem ruffle variations. This skirt has been designed with an hourglass figure in mind, allowing a generous amount of ease at the hips.

Pattern Sizing: 2-16

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!

Were the instructions easy to follow? Perfect.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love how this pencil skirt is pegged and high waisted. It's hugely flattering and it allows for hips!
It's got four darts at the front and at the back. It's just lovely. My perfect pencil skirt.

Fabric Used: Bonded lace - with some stretch,

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Rather than hemming the skirt I took advantage of the non-fraying stretch fabric and simply trimmed around the lace motifs to add interest to the hem line.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I have several planned!
