| Pattern Description: A t shirt with gathered raglan sleeves. 126 is the short sleeved version, 127 long sleeved, and 128 a dress with short sleeves and a flounce
Pattern Sizing:34-42. So far, I've made a 34 and a 36 for my daughters. It runs a little large in my opinion, as I used a medium weight fabric, where the pattern calls for a thin knit, and the fit is not tight at all.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions are for a conventional machine, and would make construction more difficult than necessary due to such gems as setting in the sleeves in the t shirt, so I did not follow them.
My construction order was
1. Gather sleeves
2. Attach sleeves to fronts and R back
3. Apply neck binding using coverstitch machine
4. Sew L back sleeve seam and sew down seam allowance at neck
5. Sew sleeve and side seams
6. Hem using coverstitch
I used a 3 step narrow zig zag on my conventional machine, and an overlocker to finish seams for the construction
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Wuick, easy, not exactly the same as every other t shirt, but not in-your-face noticeable either.
Fabric Used:Medium weight cotton-lycra knit from Stretchtex
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: No alterations other than construction.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I have sewn one each for my 2 daughters, and can see many more in my future.
Conclusion: This is a very good wardrobe building pattern. Yay Burda.

This pattern looks wonderful made up as a classic white t shirt. Who ever has enough of those?! Your daughter did a beautiful job on her skirt, too.

Nice twist on the classic white tee.

Love your version (and your daughter's skirt)! I have this cut out in a long sleeve white knit ...thanks for sharing your construction steps as I was planning on doing something similar but not using my binder. After reading your steps I will now use my coverstitch binders.

Absolutely beautiful and a perfect fit. This is the best one I have seen. Looks so good as a simple, shorts sleeved white tee. Beautiful daughter too!
