| Pattern Description: Tunic
Pattern Sizing:oversized, I used two sizes smaller than measurements printed on the envelope
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? It did
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Too much hand sewing. Lots of slip stitching required and I have arthritis so it was difficult.
Fabric Used: Eyelet cotton
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The bust on the pattern is set way too high. I never usually have to alter that on patterns, just the BWL for me (lengthen). So I want to warn others before they start to check this specifically. With the pleating on the front, and the princess seams make sure you lengthen the shoulders so the bust curves fit you in the correct spot! There is no spot on the pattern to lengthen this so you really have to know what you are doing as the armhole area is altered as well. Also, I wish I had pleated the facing and fabric separately for the bust pleats. It is too thick and bunching when done together. I will probably carefully rip this out and re-do it so it lays nicely. So others making this pattern should be careful here!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Probably not.
