As a nurse, who is 5'8" tall, it is difficult to find scrub pants that are long enough. I decided to make my own. I chose Mcalls 6473 and cut out the size 8.
The directions were easy to follow, the pants looked like the picture when they were finished and the sizing was accurate. However, they were too high waisted for me. I would have liked them better if they sat about 1 1/2 to 2 inches below my waist. The pockets and the front band gave the pants a nice finished look. I would like to make them again, but it would.mean that I would need to cut the pockets down and adjust the waist band. I'm not sure that I want to go to that much trouble. |
