This is a really nice looking bag-I love the cat button too! I have never tried any independants, but I checked out this site and she does have some nice patterns. Thanks for the review!

I just (yesterday) bought a small stash of upholstery fabric, intending to make 5 of these bags for gifts for friends who helped us move. Not sure when I'll get to it...but the review will help a lot! Thanks!
