Pattern Description:
Comfy and relaxed lounge trousers. Comfortable enough to do yoga or sleep in, but stylish enough that you won't be ashamed to answer the door while wearing them.
These very easy to sew trousers features either a waistband made with ribbing, or one made from stretch jersey.
Pattern Sizing:
XS-XXL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy, this is pretty simple design with just a few seams to serge.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love this pattern because it filled a much needed hole in my wardrobe. All my RTW sleeping pants are full of holes but I was too lazy to knock off a pattern. The pattern was easy to alter and I was very pleased with my finished pants.
Fabric Used:
Pant - cotton jersey
Waistband - 1x1 cotton rib with elastic inserted inside of the waistband.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Because I have a very large backside and a titled waist I made the following fitting alterations. Started with a size XL.
1. Dropped crotch 2 1/2" on both front and back.
2. Added 1" to the top of the back crotch at CB.
3. Cut down the front of the pants 1 1/2" at CF which was blended out to nothing at the side seams.
4. Took the pants in about 1/2" at CB and trimmed the waistband down the same.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will be sewing this again, probably in more juvenile prints cause that's how I roll. Highly recommend, the pattern is inexpensive and gives you a comfortable and nice looking pant.
Conclusion:
Buy it, make some pants, lounge around your house thinking about how cozy you are, feel happy.
