Pattern Description: Jalie's updated yoga pant pattern. This one is more fitted than their retired pattern.
Pattern Sizing: 27 sizes, from kid to plus. I made a size S, based on my hip measurement.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
On me
Were the instructions easy to follow? Sure, though this is a pretty easy pattern to make.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the RTW fit. I chose this pattern over the older Jalie yoga pant (which I also have) because this is more fitted. It has more of the fit that the Old Navy yoga pant used to have, before they changed the design and made it less good.
Fabric Used: The pattern calls for a 4-way stretch knit. But I did not have a 4-way stretch knit suitable for pants. So I used a rayon/lycra ponte that is a 2-way stretch knit. So it's pretty stable in the up/down direction.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None. Zero. Zilch. Love!!!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I know it's hard to really see these pants, as I made them in black, but they are FABULOUS. They have RTW fit and style, including a seam down the back and a 2-pc yoke. They are easy to sew. They fit like a dream. I will be making more of these, for sure.
Conclusion: You can see more on my blog where I reveal the back, including the hair clip I used to clip out the fullness of the top. Naughty me. ;) (I've lost 22 lbs since last fall and my clothes are starting to get baggy, hence my need for better fitting pants!)

You look fabulous and the pants are terrific. I must make that pattern, since I live in yoga pants and this looks like a great pattern. As for having to alter your clothes that are now too big, why not use up your stash and make a whole new wardrobe?

I live in yoga pants, too (despite all the other clothes I make, hehe). These are a great looking version, and I've been considering this pattern for a while.

I like the idea of "living" in yoga pants! Think there's going to be some changes going on here. Yours looks fabulous and I am intrigued with your satisfaction of fit. Think I want to try some of these! You look great!

Congrats on your weight loss. A few weeks ago I noticed that you were looking smaller. So far I have not been able to lose but I'll keep trying. I like everything that you make.
