I like what you did with the stripes on the back yoke, as then very conservative on the front, and a little more interesting on the back. Too bad though the shirt is not fitting the people sewing it up, the same way as is it is just more shown like on Vouge's human model photo though. I wonder if some photo stylist there even maybe just gathered it up and clipped all that extra fabric up behind that guy in the Vouge pattern shoot maybe, just even for their photo? Or would they alter it instead? Also since he is there standing with his arms crossed, it is kind of hard to even see the front of his shirt, or where his side seams of it even fall on him. But I agree with you, that his does really give the impression of a lot more current styled and "body contour shaped", in the seaming of it. And that guy, in the Vouge Photo, is pretty tall and narrow even.
