Oh, Viviene, I hope you will have better luck with the panties than you had with the cami. I haven't tried this cami but my Wild Ginger cami was impossible to fit on me (the "expert" gave up, even), and that was a pattern drafted to my personal measurements.
I am sorry this didn't work out for you-I don't know how stretchy your fabric was, but if it was really stretchy you'd probably have to go down at least one size (I have this pattern and I think it calls for tricot, which isn't all that stretchy) to get the intended fit. It can make a huge difference in the way your project comes out(ask me how I know, lol!). I hope you will try again!

Hmmm part of my comment has disappeared and I can't get in to edit it...so I just wanted to tell you that the panties are very nice, they work well for me, esp when done in the tricot with a soft stretch lace waistband
