OOP Strapless jumper with pockets Pattern Sizing:
8-18 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
This looked similar to the jumper on the envelope; however, this was for DD and she love to make modifications. Were the instructions easy to follow?
I think so, I didn't really use them. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The fact that DD liked it so much that she took it from my stash and put it in hers Fabric Used:
Black and teal Satin that I found at the Golden D'Or on Harry Hines. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
wanted to wear this to the freshman spring formal at college and modified the dress to have lacing going down one side. Yours truly made several loops and added them in the side seam to make this happen. I made this while visiting her at Virginia beach on spring break. A week later she's phones to tell me it needs to be a long formal...so I went to my stash and found some black lace to make a long lace skirt/slip to wear under the dress to make it longer. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
One can never tell with DD--there may be another version of this coming...who knows. I would recommend this pattern if you can find it. Conclusion:
loved this dress on DD and so glad that she is now able to wear a strapless gown.
