Thanks, everyone! Yes, I got it made before the little guy arrives in September. I learned the hard way with the first one that I won't exactly have time (or energy) to sew with a new baby. Ha ha. I wish I knew how to machine stitch the name in the inside of the outfit, but I am not that advanced yet. :)

You did a beautiful job. Your little baby will look adorable! I machine stitched the name & date on an inside seam of one of my g'kids outfits in white thread on the white fabric.

This turned out beautifully and congratulations on getting it made before baby arrives (if I read that right). I always have a problem with McCall sleeves but can't help you with that. Anyway your problem is not noticeable to anyone but you. You could use this pattern many times over too I think for lovely rompers in many fabrics. It's a winner.
