Misses' skirts, each in two lengths Pattern Sizing:
4-20, I made a size 10 grading to a size 12 at the waist, View D Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes Were the instructions easy to follow?
yes What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked the style and the pockets Fabric Used:
Ponte with some stretch, from Joann Fabrics Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I used a thin, woven cotton fabric for the inside waistband and pocket facing. I finished the inner waistband edge and pockets with bias tape. I used an invisible zipper. I used rayon seam binding to hem the bottom. I used the Colette instructions for sewing an invisible zipper and attaching and finishing the waistband. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes. I can see using a fall/winter fabric and having one for the cooler seasons. Conclusion:
I was afraid the pleats on the front would "pooch" out and be unflattering but this was not the case. This pattern is highly recommended so I took a chance and tried it and am glad I did. This is a wardrobe staple and easy to sew as well.
