Double layer elastic waist skirt, with under layer extending lower than upper layer.
86-134. I made a size 122.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I was looking for an easier beginner pattern to use to teach my 8 yo daughter to sew. Since there are two layers, there are 4 straight side seams and two hems - all easy to stitch for someone learning to use a sewing machine.
My daughter lost interest after that and I finished the rest - the more difficult parts:
The elastic waist has its own casing which is a separate piece attached to the skirt. The two skirt layers are gathered quite a bit - not the best choice for someone's first experience gathering fabric! But obviously it is is an easy skirt in general.
Pink eyelet and a gauze-like white fabric.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Maybe. It's a cute skirt and the two layers of fabric is fun.
