|Pattern Description: |
Shorts with the contour waistband and hip yoke pockets.
Sizes 34-42. I made size 40 (I'm 30" waist, 39" hips).
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes. Very much so.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, except for the fly front, which had typos and were confusing.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The side pockets are very useful and actually look flattering (I was afraid they wouldn't be).
Some sort of polyester twill that is probably more suited for outdoor jackets.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made the hem a few inches longer and changed the button layout. Nothing else - it fit me perfect the way it was.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Definitely. A very easy sew once you master the fly front.
