Short dress view B with patch pockets. C with in-seam pockets and side walking slits. Both views with casing and tie band for a casual drape. Jacket A with pointed hemline. I made view C. Pattern Sizing:
10-22 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yeah Were the instructions easy to follow?
I still don't understand the instructions for attaching the skirt to the bodice and making the casing. The instructions tell you to refer to the directions for the other dress, but the other dress has buttons going down the front into the skirt so it would seem the instructions should be different. I just did it how I usually do it when the waistband is thick and the dress has a separate bodice and skirt - sewing the pieces together, then sewing the seam allowance down. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
love the pockets. Fabric Used:
polyester knit? Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added a little length to the bodice, omitted the side slits, completely enclosed the elastic waistband, added a faux drawstring, and used bias tape for the neck and armholes. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others
I plan on only using the skirt pieces again. I guess I recommend it only because I've seen other people's dresses and theirs came out great. Conclusion:
It'll serve its purpose.
