|Pattern Description: |
Quick t-shirt and tank top patterns.
I cut the S, and I am usually a size 10 in most patterns. I wear a 2 RTW. I should have cut an XS, because I ended up taking it in by about 5/8" to make it less baggy.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy. I breezed over them to see what they wanted, but the pattern pretty much puts itself together.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I just wanted a loose fitting tank top pattern for this adorable bark fabric I found. This was a great pattern to show off the fabric.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The bias tape tape I made was too wide to use as bias facing, so I decided to do a bias enclosed edge instead. It makes the neckline and armholes a teeny bit smaller than intended, but I had plenty of room and it wasn't a problem.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Ill definitely use it again to make a loose fitting shirt again perhaps even spend the time to properly get it fitted--I think it has a lot of potential, but I would need to work with it a bit to make sure it falls properly. I most likely won't wear this without a jacket or a belt, because it is a little shapeless without further fitting. Nonetheless, it's a great pattern and a comfortable shirt
