I loved this bag from the first time I saw it in the quilt shop. Cute shape, nice size, and a chance to really have fun fitting the little squares in my own color choices. It was my first experience with Quiltsmart. I was a little impatient with pressing the interfacing with every thing lining up just so. And I wasn't quite perfect with my cutting of squares. Still, I was able to sew on the drawn lines to have a decent pieced outcome. I had a little trouble with the lining, but I later realized that was because I'd fused the batting over my markings so I had to figure out stuff that would have been easy had I had the markings where I should have. I ended up with the inside pocket facing downwards
Anyway, I really like the finished bag. Too big for a purse for me, but great as a knitting or project bag. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. I gave away the second piece of marked interfacing to a very careful quiltmaking friend.
