The pattern is described as Easy. I must agree, it is! Misses' dress and belt. Pullover dress has fitted, mock wrap bodice, shoulder ties, elasticized shoulders and raised (seamed) waist, fitted, narrow hem, thread carriers and self belt.
B5(8-10-12-14-16), F5(16-18-20-22-24) I made the 14 and could have made the 12 - possibly the 10.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, it did indeed! Maybe longer because I am 5'3".
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I was stooped on the construction of the back straps so I put them on in a way that was easy for me and they still were the same. Other than that, they were fine. But since this is a such simple dress with only front bodice, back bodice, and skirt as the main pieces, it was a no brainer.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I LOVE EVERYTHING! There is NOTHING to dislike!
I used a Cotton Lycra blend. Or poly. I had in it the stash for a year or so. So, I don't really know what it is.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made no alterations. I did leave off the belt carrier because I was in a rush to finish. The pattern calls for one carrier in the back middle. I will put two at the sides because that is a personal preference.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I want to sew more but I want them in the different lengths and solids, too. I would recommend this too anyone in all body shapes and sizes.
If you haven't gotten it, sewn it, and worn it...do it!
