Pattern Description: Misses Zip-front jackets have side panels and pockets in front panel seams. Side panels and facings are from contrast fabric. View A has stand=up collar and View B has hood.
Pattern Sizing: XS -XL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I made View A with the collar but did not use a contrast fabric, bu it does look like the drawing.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, very easy
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like that it is a longer length jacket that I can put over other clothing for outdoor use on a cold day.
Fabric Used: Well aged Tracksuit fleece.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I used the same fabric throughout the jacket instead of contrast. I purchased my zip from Zipperstop as I couldn't find a long enough open end zip locally. The back neck facing is fairly large so I topstitched it down with my coverstitch machine and also coverstitched the hems.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes I will be sewing this again and would recommend it to others. I made one in Polar fleece and another in french terry previously and have another one to do in french terry.
Conclusion: A very good outerwear jacket that is quite easy to make.
