Pattern Description: Misses Dress. Workroom from Project Runway, Misses' sundress in two lengths and belt. Keyhole detail at front at back gathered neckline
Pattern Sizing: I cut size 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, Other than the 1 or 2 slight changes I made.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes they were not difficult at all. I even like the way the French seam instructions were included
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was easy, and quick. The type of patterns I am looking to sew up right now. It runs a tad big. I was initially going to cut a 14 but after reading a couple other reviews decided to cut a 12 and glad I did.
Fabric Used: Used a Silk Charmeuse I purchased from the clearance rack from JoAnns at $3/yd. I love a good deal!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Instead of making the front 2 pieces I cut the front on the fold making it one piece and eliminating the front keyhole. I left the pack in two pieces with a center back seam.
Instead of using a fabric drawstring I opted to use a chain instead. I got the idea from slmstyle review for the same dress: I love the way it turned out.
