Loose-fitting top, bias cut, lined, with elastic at left side seam Pattern Sizing: 8-20 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
absolutely Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were so simple they were almost confusing. The fact that the lining and hem are sewn together without the traditional finish had me going "now what now?" What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the bias cut but I hated pinning the two ginormous pieces. Fabric Used:
Polyester chiffon that I purchased from Vogue Fabrics in 2010 while at the American Sewing Expo in Novi, MI. I used power mesh that I purchased from Lucy's Fabrics when they were liquidating their fabric inventory. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
No changes; however, I used a six inch strip of chain on the neckline to weigh the neckline so that it would hang properly Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes! Yes! Conclusion:
This is a great lightweight blouse that can be worn to dress up a pair of jeans or worn with a skirt for a classy look in the office.
