|Pattern Description: |
MISSES' PANTS: Semi-fitted, tapered pants (below waist) have contour waistband, side front pockets, side back seams, mock fly zipper and hook & eye closure. A: edgestitched crease
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, but shorts version.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions that come with these are crazy easy to follow. I was incredibly surprised at how easy it was to make the fly zipper. Anyone, at any level, would have zero issues with the instructions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked how simple it was to make yet how gorgeous the pants look. I have no complaints.
Black stretch sateen. I love this choice, if I would have used something silky for the contrast part (I used the same black stretch sateen) I think they would have looked like expensive tuxedo shorts.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made shorts instead of capri or regular pants. I also used snaps instead of hook and eye.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I'll be sewing this AGAIN and AGAIN!! I recommend it to everyone!
