Café-type curtains for the window in a steel door: 4 individual curtains in all. The bottom half of the window opens. Pattern Sizing:
N/A Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
N/A Were the instructions easy to follow?
I hemmed tops and bottoms the same amount and used clip-on rings to attach the curtains to the rods rather than making a casing for the rods. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I really like the appearance of the curtains;it's a big improvement over what was covering the window before. Having two tiers of curtains makes it possible to open one pair to let in light and air while the other pair is closed for privacy. Fabric Used:
The fabric is cotton, grey on one side and black on the other. It does a good job of keeping out the light of the early-morning sunrise. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
N/A Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I expect to make these again, perhaps in a heavier fabric for winter. Conclusion: I'm very, very pleased with these curtains. Wish I'd done this years ago!
