Pattern Description: Misses/Women's dress or tunic and pants in 2 lengths and sash. I made View B with cap sleeves
Pattern Sizing: 10-18. There is 6" of ease built into this pattern so I made a size 14 instead of the size 16 suggested for my bust measurement (38"). There is still plenty of room.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, no problems
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked that there was no bust dart in this tunic and it used shoulder darts instead. I often have the fit issue of tops being too wide across the shoulders and I figured that I could easily make the darts bigger if this were to happen. The generous ease also meant that a FBA was unnecessary.
The pattern calls for a center back seam which is definitely optional. To conserve fabric, I kept the seam, but it could have easily been omitted.
Fabric Used: a lightweight cotton with black outlined roses
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I cut a 14 and graded out to an 18 at the hip. I made a sash but didn't use the pattern.
