|Pattern Description: This is a basic t-shirt with short sleeves and a bow yoke on the back.|
Pattern Sizing: 104-164. I made the 104
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? In as much as I followed the pattern, yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? No, but the t-shirt is easy enough to make so if you have some experience, it should be no problem. I wouldn't recommend this pattern for a beginner.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I disliked the seam across the front, so I eliminated that. I also disliked the very large neckline opening in the front. I really like the bow detail on the back.
Fabric Used: Cotton jersey with very little recovery. I'd recommend using a fabric with more recovery for this pattern.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I eliminated the seam across the chest and I added my own giant dahlia circle skirt to turn it into a dress. I used a rolled hem instead of the regular hem and I used FOE for binding the neckline.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I might sew it again, but I would alter it even further. I like the bow in the back enough that instead of using this pattern again, I am more likely to alter another pattern to have this and am even considering altering a t-shirt pattern of mine, to have this.
The pattern leaves a lot to be desired, but if you like the style, it makes a cute enough top. My daughter really likes it and it met my needs to add a cute top to my skirt.
