|Pattern Description: Misses Cape|
Pattern Sizing: 6-14
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, it looks like view B.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, except I had to read thru the instructions for the pass-thru pockets and study the small pictures many times to understand it. The instructions were correct, and the pockets turned out to be a pretty neat feature.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The very Sherlock Holmes-y style was what we liked. The cape is for my daughter who lives in Seattle.
Fabric Used: A green woven wool boucle from Mood. It was thick and gave off a lot of fuzz which made it a little harder to work with. My daughter loves the green!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would recommend the pattern, but would suggest a fabric that was more light weight than what I used.
Conclusion: My daughter loves it, so it was a success!
