Toddler pants, shorts, shirt, vest, and dress. I made the pants.
Toddler sizes one-half up through 4.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. I made the pants in an unmodified size 2.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The pattern seems fine though sizing may be odd (or it could be my very tall lanky toddler). My little guy is 38 inches tall and nearly 3 years old, and the length of the size 2 is perfect, but the crotch-to-waist distance seems a little short and the waist seems slightly small.
An old pair of my own khaki pants that had a broken zipper. A nicely worn cotton twill.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I followed the pattern as written, and then sewed a button on the waistband above the false fly to add a little visual interest. I also topstitched the side seams both for looks and to hold down the seam allowance.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I'll definitely sew it again, though maybe I'll size up and then adjust the length.
Good basic pants pattern for toddlers.
