|Pattern Description: Slimmer sillhouette through the fitted bust area with vertical seaming. Military princess seams in the front and back. Full-length, cut-on dolman sleeves. Relaxed fit through hem. Edgestitched throughout. View B jacket: Mid-thigh length. Architectural folded collar. Four button closure.|
Pattern Sizing:XS - XL I sewed the XS.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, except it was much shorter and I didn't fold the collar.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions in an Cutting Line Design Pattern are very thorough.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the "swing jacket" effect of the jacket. I intended this to be a "big blouse" look, and it worked out perfectly.
Fabric Used: A stretch cotton jacquard bottom weight from Marcy Tilton.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I shortened the pattern by about 7 inches from the lengthen/shorten line.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I probably will sew this jacket again and do recommend it.
Conclusion: This is going to be a go-to jacket for me. It will work well as a layering piece for summer nights, spring and fall. See more information on my blog
