|Pattern Description: |
Misses' Robe, Belt, Top, Gown and Pants
ZZ: Lrg - XXL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
So far, so good. My top is a bit puffier than the one on the 6' tall model pictured, probably.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, but, see below.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
If you use the lace hem view, beware. The pattern recommends a sub-standard hem after adding the lace. Visit my blog post here to read about a better way around this.
Extremely Olden Stashe from when Troubadors roamed the land.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added three inches to the short sleeve hemline; also used French seams, did a Forward Shoulder adjustment, and other changes detailed in my blog post.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
It fits well so I will sew it again: this was just my working muslin.
A cute pattern, but use your "horse sense" when reading the instructions.
Update: I used 1 yard of fabric to make this Summer Pajama Top.
Important tip: Be sure to save room for the bias binding if you choose to make your own out of the fashion fabric.
