So sorry to hear about your experience. There are 2 more things you might want to check before you write them off completely: printer settings - did your pattern print out the size Lekala intended it to? I think you need to select "actual size" but I'm not positive about that. Second: seam allowance. Lekala can come with or without seam allowances. I guess if you thought you had one without SA (and so added one on) but actually there was already one there, the garment would be too big. Still, sounds like yours was much too big for that to be the only explanation. Again, sorry about your disappointment.

I'm know I didn't add a seam allowance to the print out and I *think* the printer setting was on actual size, since I didn't change it. But that's a good point, maybe the print size was the issue. But due to the poor customer service I received: I was told that "Lekala patterns are so inexpensive because Lekala doesn't test the patterns, they just design them" and "I shouldn't expect the pattern to fit at such a low price" turned me off to Lekala forever. I would never knowingly purchase patterns that haven't been tested for fit before I spend my time and $ on them. I just assumed all sewing patterns are made up and corrected if needed before they are sold to the public. It's true that the $ for the pattern isn't much, but I don't want to waste my precious time and fabric making something I'll have to throw away.
