High five for your perseverance - it really paid off in the end. You look "va-va-vooooom!" in that baby!

Soul-soothing review... I'm still in the throes of fitting mine in mustard/green/purple batik, trying to diagnose and remove the frump from the shoulders/armhole area and the center front seam where diverse pleats meet. Odd that the width is fine at the side seams yet the middle front bulges out. I cut a 20, have narrow shoulders and a 1.25" FBA. I just moved the inset side front bodice pieces in to the angle for a 12, which approaches the defined fit shown. And yes, I was ready to attach the front skirt lining when the frump became unmistakable.

So glad it worked out in the end! Gorgeous fabric, so much nicer than the dowdy envelope illustration.

You wear that dress a gazilliontimes better then the the pattern picture. Love the print and what you did with the shoulders.
