A lunch bag with drawstring cover Pattern Sizing:
9"(width) x 7 1/2"(hight w/o handles) x 5 1/2" (depth),
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes - apart from different fabrics Were the instructions easy to follow?
This is a FREE TUTORIAL rather than a pattern. It is on a blog with LOTS of photos. I either missed a couple of instructions (or they were not there), but it was not a problem at all. Nice photos to follow even without text (but lots of text to help) What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Small bag which could be made as a craft bag gift with a drawstrong cover ... so extra things can go inside and be kept clean! Fabric Used:
Furnishing weight cotton and batik cotton prints and poplin.. and what ever I thought looked good together from the stash... Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
None (did not need interfacing due to weight of fabric) Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
OH YES! I plan to make some modifications and then sew in a variety of size some with drawstrings and some with zips... these will be teacher gifts for the end of year... Conclusion:
Lovely tutorial which can be adapted to make bags in various sizes (once the basic idea is grasped). This was my first bag from this tutorial and I will make more (and they don't take long to make!) Great for stash busting the smaller scraps. TUTORIAL HERE
