Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes. Because I was using a striped fabric, I made a pencil drawing first to reference as I laid out the pieces. I wanted the back to have the stripes directions to be both up and down and side to side. Also, I decided to use the wrong side of the fabric for the sleeves for a bit of contrast.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. Sewing Workshop patterns have great instructions and lots of pictures.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
A striped knit that I purchased at the Sewing Workshop booth at the Puyallup Sewing Expo a few years ago.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
For the back zipper, I added rick rack to both sides of the zipper followed by black and white striped ribbon on top.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Absolutely. It sewed up fairly quickly and I receive tons of compliments when I wear it. Conclusion:
Will definitely make this blouse again. To go to my blog for more views, please click Stars Threads
