Pattern Description: Misses knit top & tunic with several variations.
Pattern Sizing: I cut a size smaller than what it recommended for my measurements and it was fine.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. This is the 4th time I've made this one and I think I've mastered it, lol. My first 2 reviews were for the cowl neck tops and my 3rd review was for this same dress view D. I struggled the first 2 times with step 8 - the back facing - but have finally gotten the hang of it (the illustration is better than written instructions here).
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the simplicity of it...you don't even have to finish/hem the cowl neck part because it just 'hangs' inside, lol...it is really quick to make this, just a couple of hours and you have a lovely summer dress. I really love the cowl neck for both the dresses and the tops.
Fabric Used: An ITY knit in an animal print with some gold sparkle in it. I purchased it with this pattern in mind.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: As with the previous version , I added 2 inches to the length or it would be shorter than what I'm comfortable with.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and yes. Here are my versions of the tops, which look really nice under a suit jacket for office work: Top #1Top #2 .
Conclusion: This is a fast & simple pattern for both a top or dress. Great for beginners.
