Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments! Sew Whatever, I am glad to hear you have a Romanian Blouse :). My intention was to make an embroidered top to wear on the International Day of the Romanian Blouse, which was on June 24th, but I couldn't make it in time this year. Maybe for the next year, but anyway, I know that it would be a cheater's version of a Romanian blouse, compared to the "real thing" because it's going to be embroidered by machine :)

Very nice. I am going to put this on my list before it's OOP.

Darling top! I love the roses and the butterflies, so girly! I like very much the blue muslin one!

This is such a feminine, beautiful top, especially with your great fabric choice. It sounds like you can make some variations of it that will be great too, always a bonus!

I love your top. I think it's a great use of this fabric.

You are right, this pattern was a very good use for that fabric. I love your embroidered top. Could you wear a strappy top under it like a camisole - or actually wear a nice camisole under it? I have an embroidered peasant top from when we visited Romania 22 years ago! I haven't worn it much though because the gathering for the top is done with smocking and it is not a good fit for my full bust. I can't bring myself to change it though!
