Pattern Description: "The stylish alternative to a basic t-shirt or sweater. A high scooped front hem, & low curved back hem combine to create an incredibly flattering silhouette & comfortable fit. Pattern comes with a cropped version, a full length version, two different neckline finishes, three sleeve lengths, & two different patch pockets. Opportunities for variation and personalization are endless!"
Pattern Sizing: XS-XL. I made the L.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? This is the second time I've made this pattern and I did so without the instructions. That being said, in my experience Megan's instructions are always clear and include lots of helpful diagrams.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really like the scooped front neckline and the high/low hem. My first Briar is currently on high rotation and I expect this one will be too!
Fabric Used: 100% wool jumper/sweater weight knit brought as a 1.1m remnant from Tessuti.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: My hem is the halfway point between the cropped the full length versions. I did not add the little pocket on the front. The sleeves were shortened due to fabric restrictions.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? As indicated above, this is the second time I've sewn up this pattern and I'm not sure it's my last! I would definitely recommend this pattern to others.
Conclusion: This piece is a great addition to my wardrobe. The wool makes it super warm and the neutral colour allows for lots of colourful beads and scarves. I do love to accessorise!
