Pattern Description: Misses' seven sizes in one knit dress
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?yes, pretty much
Were the instructions easy to follow?almost overly easy to follow
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? What I really liked is that it was such a simple pattern and had the option of a v-neck or crew neck....and the different length options are nice, too
Fabric Used:hidden stashed knit....I vaguely remember receiving this in a mystery box about 2 years ago.....but it had been at the bottom of my fabric closet ever since.....
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:none at all
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I will probably sew this again, only in the v-neck version, which has a more solid back. The crew neck version has the racer-back, which isn't my favorite, but I figured I could use a change. I would recommend it to others because it is so easy, and when your life doesn't go to hell in the blink of an eye (like mine did with the sudden loss of a beloved pet and having to calm down an autistic child), it would have gone together in a matter of hours.
Conclusion: Easy-peasy knit dress that works up like a dream. I actually loved this prior to doing the neck and arm facings...it seems that adding the facings made the armholes a little larger than needed, but it's still a nice little summer dress. Might make this up in a different knit....maybe a lighter knit....not sure....LOVE the pattern and think it's an awesome addition to my pattern collection.....I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who wants a nice simple summer dress.
