Pattern Description: This is two tablecloths and two napkins for small tables used outside.
Pattern Sizing: My tables are 20 inch diameter round, folding tables. We use them outside like side tables to set our drinks on.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? This is a self drafted pattern. Each cloth is made of one 21 inch print square with a three inch solid, border-fabric sewn around it. The napkins are 22 X 11 inch rectangles of print fabric with a three inch solid strip down each long side. tablecloths Napkins Were the instructions easy to follow? I sewed the top and bottom borders onto the tablecloth squares and down each side of the napkins first. Then I stiched the side borders onto the tablecloths. I then hemed all sides of the tablecloths and the long sides of the napkins. I then used coordinating bias binding to finish each end of the napkins to give them a bit more color. All seams are overcast in coordinating thread.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This pattern can be enlarged or made smaller as the table needs. You can add trims or texture stiching very easy.
Fabric Used: Cotton fruit print with a cotton solid for the borders.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will sew it again because these are the only ones I have for these small tables. They are very easy and quick to make.
Conclusion: I didn't get to use them today as I ran out of bobbin thread with 20 inches of hem to go, right before lunch. They are ready for tomorrow though;) dining set on table
