|Pattern Description: Yoga skirt which is a gathered skirt with foldover waistband made from same fabric as skirt.|
Pattern Sizing: Kids to adult.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like that this is a gathered skirt which is a forgiving style for those of us who want to hide a tummy pooch. The foldover waistband eliminates the need for elastic and makes the skirt versatile as far as length is concerned. Thus, I can wear the skirt with flats one day or with platform heels the next day!
Fabric Used: St. John's rayon/lycra knit purchased from Emma One Sock. The fabric is soft and has a nice smooth finish, totally worth the price.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None really.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Definitely! I have sewn two more skirts for my daughter.
Conclusion: I followed the free tutorial by Patty Young posted on Sew Mama Sew
