Pattern Description: Infants' Top, Dress, Shorts and Appliqués, buttons on the shoulders
Pattern Sizing: NB-XL (8-12lbs - 26-29lbs)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? They are spelled out perfectly but they completely skip over the part where you take care of your seams on the facing before you flip it out and iron. You need to trim the seam down to a scant 1/4" and then notch around the curves.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This is a good scrap buster for all those gorgeous lighter weight, woven fabrics you have leftover from your adult sized garments. It's a simple design screaming to have your own personal touch.
I was a bit surprised they completely skip over finishing your seams under the facing. It's such an obvious step you have to do or else you'll get a sloppy and wonky neckline in the end.
Fabric Used: The red is a polka dot cotton poplin, the floral is a cotton voile.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: No alterations.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I recommend this one to anyone but the beginner seamstress would really love this... it's soooooooooooooooo easy to make. It took me well under one hour to make each dress. Anyone with sewing experience can sew this with their eyes shut.
