View / Size used: I used the view A length, but the B neckline. I made the XS because the fabric is super stretchy, but I coulda maybe used a size or two bigger
Fabric Used: Super soft 4-way cotton jersey from the Michael Levine Loft
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: This is my second version of this top, the other one works it's way downwards through the day because the bust lining is too small and it pulls the top down. For this version I added 1 1/2" all the way around in the lining, the added space there seems to have done the trick.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yup! I did manage to put the front on with the wrong side facing out though. I dare you to be able to tell from more than 6" away!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I've tried to trace off RTW tops that look like this, but it's never worked out well. I love that the lining on the bust means that you don't have to worry about finishing the neck or armholes. I like the shape of the neckline - it is almost exactly the same as the navy Old Navy tank top I'm wearing underneath
What did you particularly like or dislike about the finished garment? I dislike that I'm a dummy and put the front on the wrong way around!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Hoooo yes! I will be sewing this one again, and I certainly recommend you get over to the pattern sale and grab a copy!
