Pattern Description: Gathered skirt with fitted yokes, front slash pockets and center back zipper closure. I did view A which was slightly gathered and above the knee.
Pattern Sizing: 0-16. I used size 4 based on waist measurement, not hips.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the technique used to attach the zipper. I also love the fitted yoke. The only thing I didn't like was the tissue paper used for the pattern. I just wish a thicker paper was used (like in Jalie patterns). I usually trace my size to preserve the original pattern.
Fabric Used: Linen purchased from Marcy Tilton two years ago.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I skipped the slash pockets as I rarely if ever have use for them.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes definitely. This is my second skirt from this pattern.
Conclusion: This skirt, though easy to make, is not short on design elements. Definitely one of my favorite skirt patterns.
