This very basic KwikSew turned out to be a great pattern. I've made three so far and love them all. It is very similar to all the summer tops that I see in ready-to-wear. It works great for rayon, polyester and knits. I used the size medium for my daughter and cut it a little longer. She picked out the polyester woven fabric at Hancock Fabrics and it sewed up very quickly. Rather than using the facing pattern included, I cut a bias binding for the neckline and I like the result. I didn't cut off the seamline before binding the neck because my daughter didn't want the neckline any larger. I eliminated the back seam and it still slips easily over her head. I've made it also in rayon and those turned out great as well. I highly recommend this for a make-it-tonight, wear-it-tomorrow top!
