Pattern Description: This is a simple pants pattern with faced waist, side zip.
Pattern Sizing: One size only. I used size 12 but added some waist width.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? This is very easy to sew.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This comes together very quickly--this is my second pair. For some reason, this fits me well.
Fabric Used: A purple wool crepe from my stash. I don't know why I was attracted to the purple, which might be difficult to coordinate in my wardrobe. But the wool crepe is fabulous. I haven't sewn with wool crepe in quite some time--it's a real pleasure to sew--very easy to work with. Drapes well. Presses great. Comfy to wear. I'll definitely be trying some other wool crepe garments later this year.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: No. I used an invisible zipper for the side and interfaced with Medium ProWeft fusible from Fashion Sewing Supply--this is my new favorite interfacing for waistbands and facings.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I think I am going to try to add some pockets to these, then they will be perfect. .
Conclusion: A simple, well-fitting pants pattern. Try it in wool crepe.
