This seems to be very typical of New Look patterns in particular (at least it is for me). The neckline of the front looks like it stretched out (either during fitting or while sewing). Interfacing and a bit of twill tape eased in that's a touch shorter (~1/4"-1/2") than the neckline probably would have helped.

katmay, the top is cute, but boy, do I hear you about fitting! (My dream is a computerized pattern station at the fabric store. Zip on a stretchy, sensor laden torso suit and step into the laser arch. And get a print out of your customized pattern on the spot!)

Well...It really fits nicely in the back and...if you could take the shoulders in (meaning up) to bring up the neckline "gap" did you try that? I have noticed on this type of neckline this adjustment has worked for me. I LOVE seersucker and your top is really cute! I don't think it makes you look prego and the length of it is perfect with your jeans. I noticed that pattern has lots of different bodice options too. So your top is cute on you despite it's shortfalls. Thanks for the review!
