Pattern Description: Three styles of swimsuits, all 1950's style. Pattern is available at Etsy and can be printed at home or at a print shop. The designer has a step by step tutorial on her website with plenty of photos.
Pattern Sizing: Sizes 4 - 18, in ready to wear sizes.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Absolutely.
Fabric Used: Some super stretchy synthetic I found on ebay.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Nope, just had to cut a 10 for the top and 12 for the bottom.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? As soon as I come across the right fabric, I'm making the other one-piece style.
Conclusion: There is a board on Pinterest just for finished Bombshells, and they look good on everyone. The style is very forgiving of figure flaws, and I don't have to keep tugging on my suit to keep areas covered. I used a serger for most of my seams, but you can make it just as well using a zig zag stitch, and Heather has tips on her blog on just that.
