|Well....I'm not quite done, I still have to hem the bottom. I was unsure of what to do, due to a cutting error.|
Pattern Description: Loose fitting, below hip or mid-thigh length pullover tunics
Pattern Sizing: [L-XL-XXL]
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? somewhat
Were the instructions easy to follow? pretty darn simple
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? nothing
Fabric Used: Poly chiffon from Jo-Ann's clearance
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: A dumb mistake became a design feature. I cut the back for D, which is the longer length tunic, but cut the front pieces for C, which is the shorter tunic. My daughter has convinced me to leave it as it is.
No binding, just folded under and sewn down. First of all, I couldn't find a bias binding that matched to my liking. Bad enough my first 'real' garment project is using a slippery chiffon, I wasn't going to attempt to make bias binding.
I saw a tip online to use starch to help the fabric cooperate. That tip worked wonders!!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will sew it again, one day. I have a bazillion other patterns I'm anxious to get started!
Conclusion: Easy peasy. Only 3 pattern pieces.
Pics Soon I Promise!!
